Save the dates for a reimagined version of the Montgomery Museum’s classic Arts❤️ NRV event! Featuring both an en plein air painting component as well as art market, this event offers artists an opportunity to create, sell, and exhibit their artwork to the New River Valley community. Enter as a plein air painter or vendor (or both!).
As an Arts❤️ NRV Plein Air artist, explore and paint more than 10 historical sites in Montgomery County, tying into the Virginia 250 semiquincentennial - the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence as well as the formation of Montgomery County.

Steppin' Out ( Blacksburg)

Radford Community Festival
The annual Radford Community Fest is a free community celebration held from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 on East Main Street in Radford, VA. Community members, students and their families, university staff and faculty, and guests from the region are invited.
East Main Street will be full with over 100 local vendors, five food trucks, a main stage with live music all day, street performers, community engagement, and the downtown Radford merchants you love are hoping to see you as well!

We will be participating in a evening event at Eastern divide! Live music with First to Mars playing live from 5–8 PM. 10 SPARC artists will be displaying their art who will be set up around the room 5:00- 8:30 PM. This will leaning more into the showcase side and less of a sales/market event!
